OK, I will go first. Who is doing the best with the bottom end of the credit spectrum?

Alright, I'll ask. Autodealerpeople, Auto Dealer Monthly, and now a Greg Goebel ning site. You are SUPER BUSY!! What are you wanting to do with this site that you are not doing on your other Ning site?

Actually, nothing really. :-) It was just a lot easier to maintain my web site here than where I had it. I may ultimately move my private client group and SF group here, but for now, this is where the investment bankers in NY and overseas can find me. Believe it or not, not everyone realizes that the magazines and web site are mine.

ADM is where people can go and find all the stories ever published in either Auto Dealer Monthly magazine or the web site, where press releases and new feeds are offered, and the directories for finance companies and vendors in the allied industry.

AutoDealerPeople.com is the more interactive site where ideas and opinions are exchanged and people can network.

Here, it is mostly just my stuff. There won't be any advertising here, outside of my products and events that I am involved with. I will be posting links to finance companies, vendors and interesting things that I like...plus of course my opinions. I still have a few. :-)

In any case, I am glad you found me here.

Gayle,

Thanks for being here and good question. Lenders are like the seas - always ebbing and flowing. Right now as long as you don't expect to earn large front-end grosses, some of the best companies are Westlake, Drive Financial, Western Funding and Credit Acceptance. If you were in California I would add companies like Lobel and A-L Financial. I know that in the Kentucky-Tennessee area C-F Financial is a good source.

In many markets the bottom end is often served by local finance companies. The Chicagoland and New York areas have some smaller but well funded finance sources for dealers. Each market is slightly different. If you have anything any more specific, just let me know.

Best regards,
GG
